' Tooth Fairy' Teeth Whitening

Tooth whitening with an LED light was inspired within the beauty industry due to a change in cosmetic law. That law has changed to ''one does not have to be a dentist since it is now legally a cosmetic product.'' This is why Bev's Beauty Room is now offering this amazing service, making it more accessible to people in the local area.

The process of Tooth Whitening is simple. Tooth Whitening is similar to a skin facial 

except the treatment is a facial for the teeth. All teeth have pores just as skin does and over time the pores in one’s teeth become clogged with stain. Stain is caused from red wine, smoking, coffee, tea and just day to day living which make teeth appear yellow in colour. Once the whitening gel is on the teeth, the gel instantly starts to remove the built up stain within the pores making the teeth whiter. You must understand Tooth Whitening is not magic and the tooth can only improve so many colour shades from the tooth’s initial colour. Please check out Bev's own before & after images!

• How Does It Feel?

Having your teeth whitened does not hurt. The tooth whitening gel will start to bubble when saliva starts to mix with the gel. This is not to be swallowed in excessive amounts, but do not worry if you swallow small amounts during the treatment. You may feel a light burning impression, this is normal and not painful. The healthier your gums the less you feel.

• How Long does it last?

The Tooth Whitening results will last 3 months to 2 years depending on how often you smoke, drink red wine, coffee, etc. Tooth Whitening changes the tooth colour however the colour change is not permanent. You can decide when to refresh your results with follow up appointments every 4 months to 2 years.

• Does It Damage Your Teeth?

The tooth whitening treatment does not damage the tooth structure and to prove that Americans and Canadians have been whitening their teeth for many years. The treatment must be done with a product that is safe and effective which Tooth Fairy has produced.

• Does It Damage My Dental Work?

Tooth Whitening does not damage any dental work. If dental work has been performed by a dentist, the existing dental work will not change colour. The tooth colour may improve slightly if there is existing stain on the dental work but whitening gel is only really effective on natural teeth.

• Are There Any Reasons I Cannot Have My Teeth Whitened?

There are contraindications for using Tooth Whitening products. These are, if you: are pregnant, have extreme periodontal disease, have any allergies to the contents of the gel, wear dental braces or a Tooth Crystal. Tooth Fairy recommends not using Tooth Whitening products on a client under the age of 18. However, if the client has a parent's signed consent, the age of 16 is acceptable.

• How Long Does It Take?

Tooth Fairy recommends booking one hour per treatment. There are 2-3 15-minute sessions done in 1 treatment sitting. This varies as you may be happy with the results after 2 sessions and/or maybe don't want to do the 3rd session on the same day.

• How do I Book?

You will be expected to have filled in the Teeth Whitening Consultation Form BEFORE attending your teeth whitening session. You will receive the consultation form once you have booked your teeth whitening session online at www.bevsbeautyroom.co.uk
